Responsibilities:
- Corporate Governance:
Prepare and maintain corporate records, including minutes of meetings, resolutions, and filings with regulatory authorities.
Coordinate and support board meetings, including preparing agendas and distributing materials.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and work with regulatory compliance teams with respect to applicable regulatory requirements.
- Administrative Duties:
Manage and organize corporate documents and files, ensuring accessibility and confidentiality.
Liaise with external legal counsel and regulatory bodies as necessary.
- Legal Support:
Assist in drafting, reviewing, and organizing legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
Conduct legal research and compile relevant information to support various legal matters.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant laws and regulations affecting the cryptocurrency industry.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. Paralegal certification is a plus.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a paralegal or in a corporate governance role, preferably within the financial or cryptocurrency sector.
Knowledge of KYC/AML regulations and compliance practices is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance frameworks.
Excellent research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Proficiency in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
Proficiency in Chinese and English essential
